The Berlinale is a place for intercultural encounters and a platform for a critical cinematic examination of social issues. It is one of the most political of the major film festivals. Movies are mirrors and crystal balls. They reflect our world and show us the world how it should or could be. But unfortunately, there is still a lack of diversity when it comes to casting. Actors are being casted based on stereotypes and clichés.

Because we believe diverse cinema is for everyone and can ensure a different – a better – view of our society, we crafted a social campaign, highlighting the importance of diversity in films, by providing exactly those people a stage.
